Using these pods in a regular pod maker, even with the minimum preset amount of water, dilutes the coffee too much to get that real espresso flavor.

You have to extract the coffee as you would any espresso roast, no more than 1 ounce per pod using a pressure espresso maker. When you do that, you get a really superior espresso.

These pods have the advantage that they will fit a normal size espresso filter-holder handle, unlike most of the espresso pods sold today that require a pod adapter or a special maker.

The Molto pods can also be combined with espresso ground roast in the filter-handle for a double shot if you find it is too crouded to include two pods. So far, used this way, the Molto Espresso Pods have improved the flavor of every ground espresso coffee I have used them with - and I only use the best!
